Checking the ages of competitors
Where a draft is restricted to persons of a certain age (eg. Juvenile Draft) or there is an age
related prize (eg. highest score by a person under 18 years of age), an age check should
be performed.
1 - Age Restricted Event
To perform an age check on an age restricted event (eg. Juvenile Draft), select "Age Check
- Event" from the "Data Entry" menu. Enter the date at which the age calculations are to
apply and click "OK" and select the event that the age check is required for. The ages of competitors may be viewed
by clicking on the "Preview" button or printed by selecting the "Print" option.
Check that all competitors comply with your age restrictions.
2 - Age Related Option
An age check can be performed for all entries with a specified option selected. For
example, a prize is available for the best result by a person aged under 18. On entry of the
nominations the people believed eligible for the prize would have this option selected. The
actual ages of these can be checked as follows:
Select "Data Entry" and "Age Check - Event Option" from the menu.
Enter the date at which the age calculations are to apply.
The user is required to enter the event that the check applies to. Select relevant event and then click "OK".
The option within that event that the check is required for is then selected. Click "OK".
Ages for competitors may be viewed by clicking the "Preview" button or printed by selecting the "Print" option.
Check to ensure all competitors comply with the age restrictions.
